Updo Tutorial: How to Prep Hair for an Updo

This updo tutorial video is from my Foundations of Bridal Hair course. I'm giving you, my subscribers, a sneak peak into some of the modules to this course!

This tutorial outlines the 4 basic steps to prepping:

1. Brush through the hair

2. Evaluate the roots

3. Apply flexible hold hairspray, roots to ends

4. Brush through again

I also walk you through a quick overview of how I prep individual sections for curling so that you have long lasting, frizz free curls. I also walk through how to create volume with backcombing, and the right product combo for that.
