Updo Tutorial: Detail Pinning

Have you ever wondered how to use hairpins? In this quick tutorial I walk you through exactly how to use hairpins for detailing your updos! This is a technique I teach in my full length course, but I sharing it with you today.

I've seen a lot of stylists use hairpins to actually hold sections in place-but those will totally fall out for a bride who needs her hair to hold up for hours and hours. Use hairpins as a tool to help you create your updo and to add extra security to hair that's already held in place. They shouldn't be the only pin keeping a section secure. Let's get started!
